If you wish to extinguish the flame before the fuel has completely burned out, use the provided tool with a round bottom to cover the burner until the flame is extinguished.

Never leave an open fire unattended, and always exercise caution when refilling the burner. Ensure the fireplace has cooled down for at least 15 minutes before refilling, and never pour fuel into the burning flame.

For maintenance, the burner may change color due to the heat, but with regular cleaning, it will maintain its original appearance. Use a wet cloth to clean the surface of the fireplace, and avoid using water or putting it in the dishwasher. Wipe down the glass surfaces with a warm, damp cloth.
